DROP-OFF & PICK-UP Thank you for being prompt and trying the new path when picking your child up. As a caution, please watch your speed when dropping off your child as there are others on campus and when you pick up, as there are usually many students waiting for their rides. Mahalo for your kokua! …FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO ME… This week, the students discussed with Mr. J.P. the meaning of the word: respect. We are so fortunate for the space we have, the staff and volunteers running the program and the parents who assist us. We reviewed the ideas of cleaning up after your self, helping out someone who is in need and simply saying “thank you” for all we have. We need to be aware of this all-important word as we continue on through the summer and in life so we are never caught taking anything for granted. HE’S B-A-A-A-A-CK! The world-famous Mr. Ron Bright delighted all who were present for his third annual guest speaker appearance. His words inspired the students and staff alike. He really knows how to convey his passion for the art of theatre and motivate others to buy into his energy and enthusiasm. And as always, the students had questions ready and he had answers for each one. He is a "happy person who sees the value in a smile." Thank you Mr. B for sharing your contagious smile and energy with all of us! IN PARTNERSHIP The Palikū Academy of Performing Arts began because of four friends and a dream. They always knew that they couldn’t do it alone. And this year, we are extremely fortunate to have many outstanding organizations and the people in those programs working hard to continue the dream from three years ago… The Castle Performing Arts Center – Board of Directors Joan Gerber, Michele Harris, Anna Norris and Joyce Johnson S.W.
